SOMBRERO DE PALMA
Today I am going to present a palm hat. It is the artwork I am presenting, and it is an honor for me to share it because it is a hat I was taught to make when I was a child. I learned it from my ancestors, and the palm is not available here—it was sent to me from Mexico so I could make the hat. I am an Indigenous woman from the state of Guerrero, Mexico.
